Our Story

We got married in 1998 and have had a wonderful journey since then.  We have beaten cancer (Stephanie) and adopted a sibling group of six children in 2006.  At this point we have 3 grown children "adulting" on their own and 3 in high school.  We have always enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, and treasure hunting.  Much of that was put on hold for several years while we were busy raising all six children.  Except for yard sales - you can get great kids stuff at yard sales.

So now we have some more time and have jumped back into our "treasure hunting".  Stephanie's great grandmother owned and ran an antique store until she was 93 years old.  Her grandmother and mother have always had and bought antiques.  So some of this is in Stephanie's blood.  Brandon loves a good challenge and a good hunt.  He enjoys finding unusual things and learning about them.

PS - Nellie is our 1/2 Manx 1/2 Siamese cat that is the most curious and adventurous cat.  She personally inspects every box. Nothing comes or goes without her inspection.  So it only seemed right to use her name for our site and store. See NellieManx on Facebook for her crazy adventures.
